I started private reformer classes with Julia in 2020 after a hip replacement. Due to delaying the surgery for too long, I had some major imbalances in my muscles due to limping and trying to protect the hip for so long. I was in doctor-prescribed PT, but not making the progress I’d hoped for. Julia diagnosed my issue and started me on targeted exercises to correct it and I was soon back to hiking pain free. I continued with group lessons twice a week and it has improved my posture and overall strength and flexibility. Although I have minor scoliosis and have suffered chronic back pain for decades, Pilates has greatly improved my overall fitness and at age 70 I can hike up to 10 miles pain free. Julia is very encouraging and good at modifying exercises for people with specific limitations/ issues. I highly recommend her!

I’ve been working on the core line with instruction at Pilates connection for about a year now. I find it an absolute game changer for me. It allows me to be successful in finding my muscle groups and being able to stretch and work them.

I have been coming to Pilates Connection since 2009, in that time I have learned how the body and the mind connect. My posture is much better/ The instructors are Very knowledgeable, I trust what they tell me. I do mat classes and equipment classes, missing class is not an option for me!
